Double-Trinity and others on this thread, Quick question for you.

I'd like to be able to look thru my Axim like used to do on a Palm with the find program that looked everywhere and in everything.

The closest I've seen is Kilmist Filequest.
Q: what have you found?
Thanks.

Have you used Pocket PC's Find command? (It should be in your start menu). It behaves very much like the Find on the Palm...

Thanks, this was a great thread.

I was looking for a Task Manager and downloaded and installed icbar, works great!

One cool little utility I found while poking around the net was from Boingo, it is a Wi-Fi locater utility. Works fine with my Dell True Mobile card. here is the link

http://www.boingo.com/download.html?pocketpc

Hey TopDog thanks for the info on "Owner Info X" now I feel my "baby" is a little bit more "mine". If you guys are looking for a great site where you can download avatars for Owner Info X [if you dun like using your ugly mug/face like me] try the following site: Avatars Inc.

Hello all,

I noticed that tdLauncher was mentioned, there is always its Companion tdClock (bigger Clock on the today screen)

I also have Todays Info - RAM (Prog & Store), Batt & Storage Card meters on the today screen.

There's always EZunzip,
Turbo Tray (overclock)
Speed Clean, Temp File Cleanser (needs pocket C Runtime)

These are my necessities,

I have also the Demo version of Fonix ISpeak Text to Speach Engine to read my Email to me..

I just think its a good app.

Yes I did use the find function from the Axe start menu. It seems to only search the PIM data.
I love the functionality of Palm Superfind that looked at nearly all the data on the device. Handbase and Handstory are the two most important databases I'd like to add to the finder.

Thankx for the insight and wisdom.

I'm posting on this thread to bringit backing into the recently posted realm. There have to be some other stuff out there that you all can't live without, what are they? Personally, I am loving the OwnerInfo X and Scott's launcher, and I'm going to have to go back and look into the IcBar/Wisbar thing. Where can you get a list of how big those picutres need to be? Pixel size i mean? You all rock!

I'm surprised that no one uses magic button, I'm sure that it is like many of the others, but what I like is that you can change between a program switcher and the normal bar. I believe i found it here on Axim site, or is Wisebar and ICBar that much better?

I believe it is on this site. Go to the Aximiste menu bar, choose other resources, then choose downloads. From there choose System and it should be the first one.

Don't feel dumb.

As for the avatar, control panel is blocked by your filter? To be honest, that is the only way I know to change your avatar.
