backup question

I have a question about using the backup utility included on the axim. I did a full backup to my CF card. When I do another one in the future will it write over the previous one or will it keep all backups?

Thanks

Paula

I think you have the option to rename the backup so that it won't overwrite the previous one.

So if I don't rename it it will overwrite the previous one (this is what I want) Just confirming that I understand. Thanks so much for your help. I am a recovering Palm user so some of this is very new to me!

Ok, I just checked the utility. When you start your backup, you will have the opportunity to name it (and specify storage location) before the process actually begins. By default, it's called "default.dbk." That means if you don't bother renaming each time you backup, it will overwrite the previous backup. It's good practice to name your backups by date anyway, just to help you keep track.
