Number of files & size of directories in a directory

I'm looking for Sw to help sort through the many photos I have, and even the themes I have.
I am trying to keep the number of files in each directory to a managable size for the picture viewer and for the theme SW so they can load the entire directory without taking too much time.
Sometimes I have too many files in a directory and not all the pictures will display.

So, I am looking for utility, that does a little more than Rescoe Explorer (or any other I have looked at) by displaying a little more info,
Basically I'd like something that would show the size of the directories and the number of files in that directory. And, it would do this for the directories within a directory; looking something like:

Pictures.......... 619 files / 3 directories / 226.46 MB
....\-FromMay.... 247 files / 83.56 MB
....\-FromJune.... 138 files / 45.67 MB
....\-FromJuly.... 234 files / 97.23 MB

it can even just be something like a text file that gets generated that contains this information.
