Many of us lead extremely busy lives and are always looking for ways to manage our time better. For those of us who have embraced technology we make good use of the PIM functions of our computers and mobile devices to do just that. I personally feel that the PIM management software that comes with windows mobile is just dull and lacks many features. There are several offerings improve functionality with color, icons, different views and interfaces. Agenda One by Developer One is one of the newer ones.

It provides the standard views, Agenda, Day, Week, Month as well as contacts and a search function. In the month view you have the option to display items for each day in a simple easy to see number (my preference) or you can choose one of the 6 different ways to display the details for that day. Switching between views is easy and can be done with the soft keys and the 5-way button

Agenda One lets you to customize the views of your calendar and contacts in various color fonts, backgrounds and headers to suit your liking. You can also use one of the themes that are pre-loaded, download one from the internet from within Agenda One, or make your own by selecting different colors manually and saving your choices as a theme. You can even download a Theme Builder from Developer One for free to make your own themes.

One of the things I really like is that when you select Menu, Options from any view, you get the options for just that view instead of all the options. If you want to see all options it is at the top of the list. 

Contact manager allows you to set categories for your contacts whether they are family, workmates, business prospects etc. You can make new Categories for contacts, tasks or appointments and set Icons for each category and of course apply category filters for faster lookup. It has a picture bar that lets you select a contact by picture as well. When you set up your device with numerous categories you can accomplish most tasks with the soft keys and five way button, from searching contacts to setting an appointment.
