Downloads
Download Audacity, a sound editor. Then load it and leave it to the side.
Download an alarm clock software like GS Alarm Clock v.04, and install it to your pocket pc.
The alarm clock gets its wav files from the Windows folder in the pocket pc. But we can't just stick wav files there. We must convert them first. This is easy to do and takes just seconds.
On your desktop, in your My Documents folder, make a new folder called Wavs, and a new folder inside that one called ConvertedWavs. After you convert each file, delete it from wavs and put it into converted wavs.
Let's grab some wav files first. I happen to love Caddyshack, and if you search for Caddyshack wav files you may find a site like this:
http://www.reelwavs.com/movies/caddyshack.html. Right click the file you want, press "save target as" and save it to your Wavs folder. Your wavs folder should look like this:

Ready to Convert
Open Audacity. It may look intimidating, but for our purposes, it will be very simple to use:

Now we will open a wav file to convert. Simply choose File, Open, then navigate to your Wavs file, and choose a file. I chose Thisisahybrid. Now go to Edit, Preferences, File Format Tab, and choose Wav Microsoft 16bit PCM. Then go to the Quality Tab, and choose 16 bit (see below). You don't need more than that for this purpose. If you want to convert high Fi music, then you want higher bit rates. Hit OK. We're ready to convert. Go to File, Export as Wav. Then navigate to the folder "ConvertedWavs", and your file will end up there.

Import Sounds to Pocket PC
Go to Active Sync and choose Explore. Navigate to the ConvertedWavs folder. Choose one or more of the converted wav files. Copy them. Navigate back to your pocket pc. Find your Windows folder:

Open the windows folder of your pocket pc by double clicking on it. Then paste your wav files into it. You will see the pocket pc automatically convert the files for use.
Open your alarm software and you will see your wav files. Try them out and they will work.

If you're a Caddyshack fan, you'll recognize those wav files above. Enjoy your enhanced alarm clock.
