JAVOedge sent me several items to test, the first of which is the JAVOmeta Charger, a two in one charging solution.

As you can see above, it is a combination car charger and wall charger. It is also a space saver, as the included accessories for my HP Ipaq RX5915 and nearly all other mobile devices call for separate chargers for the wall and car. To me that is two things I can potentially lose instead of one.

You simply connect a cable from your device to the USB outlet of the MetaCharger. My only concern was that my HP would only accept a charge from their proprietary chargers. However, I found that the JAVOedge MetaCharger did indeed provide power to my unit. It charged it while I used the GPS and I experienced no problems. When there is not enough juice provided, a mobile device will experience screen flicker. I did not experience that and found the MetaCharger to be a good solution. It also worked perfectly with the wall charger. They make these chargers for a huge variety of models, so check their site to see if yours is compatible.
It is very easy to use, lightweight yet solid, and takes up less room in my gadget bag than the two separate chargers that HP provided.
The MetaCharger costs $24.50 to $26.80, depending on your model.
The next items reviewed were the Screen Protectors.

The JAVOscreen AntiGlare comes in nice packaging and was easy to install because it is somewhat firm plastic. The protector has three layers bonded together. The coat that actually is applied to the screen is silicone rubber, and there is a coat above that which is a hardcoat film. The surface coat, or 3rd coat, is a matte finish. It is removable, washable and reusable. It also stays planted in position after application.
The AntiGlare coating does reduce glare, yet the coating provides a nice writing surface.

The Ultra Clear is antismudge, removable, rewashable and reusable as well. It refracts 99% of the UV rays and is crystal clear. Both screen savers come with a soft nylon cleaning cloth and an installation card to help smooth out the air bubbles. They come in individual packs and three packs.
They are well constructed and after several weeks I have noticed no scratches or defects of any kind.
The individual packs are $10.95 each, and the three-packs cost $26.28.
The included hp mount does not have room for a case. I have a Piel Frama case that I do not like to remove, so this is a problem. But the JAVOedge Universal Mounting Kit features expandable arms that hold objects from 2" in width to 4.5". That's a good thing because my HP is made to be viewed in landscape mode, which means I need all 4.5" of that width.

I found the mount to be solid and well constructed. When you drive long distances over varied terrain as I do, it is nice to know that the mount will stay suctioned and will hold your pocket pc firmly, even over the bumpiest roads. This mount has padded arms and a padded backrest. It also comes with a vent clip and a mounting plate for surfaces that don't allow suction. The mounting plate can be taped with its included double sided tape to a flat area on your car, and will allow the suction cup to stick to it. That is how I used it because I don't care to have anything on my window to block my view.
The Universal Mount sells for $29.99 and truly is universal. I also tested it with my phone, iPod and several other gadgets, and it accomodated them all with no complaint.
I am quite impressed with all the goodies they sent for review. They are well made, perform as expected and are reasonably priced. Their customer service is excellent and their shipping was quick. Best of all, they feature custom sizes and products for nearly every device.
