[rant] i despise those who believe that one form of literature is "better" than another. i also like to read the classic scifi books and i am currently re reading Isaac Asimovs Foundation series in ebook form on my ipaq. why is it that there is not any "science" in scifi anymore ? all you can buy is fantasy books! dont get me wrong cause i read and these too i am just lamenting the absence of any futuristic science in my chosen escapist pass time. is it too hard for current authors to think of what be comming in the future and where technology may lead us? where are the Arthur c Clarkes and the Asimovs , the Herberts, the Douglas Adams? Fiest,Jordan,Tolkien,Eddings,even Rawlings are good but where is the science??????? [/rant]
