whilst not exactly Scottish i am at least 1/2 irish and 1/2 english....

while he was born in ireland my grandfathers heritage goes back here...

Then, our heritage was very similar. My Great Grandfather was born in Ireland, moved to Scotland, then to the U.S. They dropped the O and the G from his name when he entered the country. I s/b an O'Callaghan. :)

I belong to a Sunday whittling club if that's any help? I like to make toothpicks. I have thousands of them, all lovingly crafted from one centuries old oak tree that I chopped down. It was spoiling the view from the front bedroom.
