Thanks. I haven't really considered it yet. I got rid of my land line a few years ago and just use a cell phone. I'm happy with that.

yeah.... my family is *thinking* about dumping the landline and just using cell pghones. the thing tho is that i have a cell phone, but i am using my sisters sim card. at the end of the summer i have to give it back to her (the sim card not the cell phone) and if everyone has their cell phone and im home alone, what happens if there is an emierganyt and i need to contact some one? so i figure the only way that would ber able to work out is if my parents got me a sim card for my phone...

Actually, our call quality is equal to that of our old landline. We are on the 500 minutes a month plan for 14.99 (Comes to just a little over 17 w/tax) We choose the 500 minute plan because incoming calls don't count against your minutes, so we are good to go! :approve:

The only disadvantage I see is that when your power goes out, your phone does too. But then again, we have cell phones for that!

has you router crapped out yet? my clients router reset itself all the time. also just wait until you want to cancil it.

I've only had to reset the router once, and that was because the ax couldn't connect...the phone was fine.

As for canceling, if the time ever comes, I'm sure it won't be any picnic, but then again, I survived canceling AOL!
