BTW, when and for how long were you in Alexandria? I grew up across the river... in Temple Hills, MD.
I was there until 1978 after h.s. graduation then moved to Monterey CA, back from 1980 until 1991 to Steelers country until 2001 right after 9/11 moved here to south jersey.
We used to go to Oxen Hill when I was a little girl to get lottery tickets and later, you guys sold liquor on sundays, va didn't. Played @ the park in Ft. Washington and a few others, Great Falls, Carderock, betting ponies @ Bowie, Pimilco another one, but I forget...lots of memories. :) if my mobile pm was working, i'd have written there...sorry!

Remember Rocket Robin Hood, Wayne and Shuster, Kids in the Hall, Card Sharks, The Greatest American Hero, CHIPs, or Adam 12?

Remember when Pierce Brosnan was Remington Steele and not James Bond or when Bruce Willis was Moonlighting rather than Die Hard-ing?

Remember when Richard Dean Anderson made you believe that you could get out of any situation as long as any type of refuse and some duct tape?

Remember Time Travelers (the show... I haven't gone THAT far off the deepend..........yet)?

Remember when Lt Colonel Henry Blake's plane went down over the sea of Japan?

I do remember Pete going blind. That was pretty sad.

Remember the first time MacGyver met up with Pete and encountered Murdock?

Do you remember why the Greatest American Hero was written as a character who couldn't fly?

Remember the next day when the Carol Burnet Show opened up with a man in a life raft hollaring "I'm OK!"
