Point taken... but I still stand by my Steve Martin comment.
(sgt Bilko... cheaper by the dozen... father of the bride....eeewwww)
I support your Steve Martin comment. Some things were better in the 'ole' days. Although I think he started out bad, got better, then got bad again. "Roxanne" was good steve martin. He's best when he doesn't take himself too seriously.
Another example... Elton John with Bernie Taupin [sp?], Yeah! Elton John after Berine, Boooooo! (Actually, even with BT, things started to go downhill. I mean really... Island Girl? WTF?)

My new favorite quote (attrributed to Mark Twain, although i haven't been able to confirm the attribution or the wording):
"Those who don't read the newspaper are uninformed.
Those who do read the newspaper are missinformed."
Remember when I used to post with alarming frequency? ... No? Well I'm hoping to change that (at least for the next couple of days... TIME OFF WORK -wOOt-wOOt-wOOt!!!)
Remember the last time you took in a deep breath and just felt good....

Though not quite in "Remember when" form. But I remember when back in 8th grade there was an article on the wall in the hallway about Bush asking for war powers so he can go to war with Iraq. I'm now in 11th grade. This thing sure has been going on for a long time.
Remember pay phones? And how you had to search around for a working one? And how when you found one, inevitably, you'd have to wait while the person on it finished his/her hour-long conversation about nothing in particular?
Remember when none of the software was WM5 friendly? There seems to be quite a push lately to bring the stuff up to date!
