I got really lucky. When I got married last year, my dad got me a car, with no strings attached, and all paid for. I got a 2002 Pontiac Aztec. I know some people think these things are ugly, but that is until you ride in one. They are freggin awsome!

How do you like the VW TDI? I have read some great things about European diesel engines. VW is supposed to be releasing a TDI for the states for the '04 model year and it is rumored that the V10 TDI will be released in the USA early next year. I think I may keep my Passat W8 for another year and then move into the Touareg V10 TDI.

I have a completely rebuilt 86 Chevy Burb for the school bus/Boy Scout tour vehicle, a 93 Ford Ranger 4cyl 5spd for the teenage boy to get to work in and I just turned in a Co. Car Dodge Intrepid. I am looking at a 2003 Mercedes 230 coupe or an Audi A4. I really like the Audi but they suck hard on re-sale. Mercedes is in the lead at the moment ...anything to help me decide is welcome
I am very satisfied with the Passat TDI. Mine is a 1.9 110HP. In Europe quite a big percentage of VW/Audi have Diesel engines mainly due to high fuel prices as a TDI engine consumes much less fuel.
I have a 1993 Isuzu Rodeo, I like it alot, I'm getting it all decked out, just put an mp3 cd reciever in it.
before that I had a 1980 soemthing suzuki Samurai, I loved that little jeep it was the coolest ride.
we also just got a 96 saturn sl2, its nice to have at least one automatic

To work I drive a 98 Honda Civic (and my newly shortened ride requires refueling about every 3-4 weeks);
on the weekends I enjoy driving my wife's 98 Volvo station wagon (which needs refuelling almost weekly).
---Gas goes from $1.30 to $1.90 depending on the season, how close to the city you get, and I think barometric pressure!
I TOTALLY love the Volvo station wagon, and if my wife ends up wanting something a little taller/easier to get the baby in and out of, I'll gladly drive the station wagon all the time.
My daily driver is a green 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4.
However, I sometimes drive my girlfriend's blue 2001 VW Jetta.
Upon graduation (next year) I plan to get a brand new charcoal-gray GMC Yukon Z71.
