S/K - We already have that.

However, when the program itself gets delayed for some reason, the timers are off by the amount of the delay. Then you have to reset the timer to go longer. :(

Should know that I am confused - again. If you set the timer to record a programme during the night and it gets delayed how are you awake to then reprogramme or reset the timer to take account of this delay?

S/K - You're not. It's Z that runs the recorder all night, not me. IF I'm recording a movie late at night, I set it to run 30 minutes longer just in case. Plus, programs don't usuually get delayed in the middle of the night. It's the prime time programs that typically get delayed for some "news flash". :(

Should know that a long night's recording of - say - a concert let's you pick out your favorites.

Some satellite stations transmit selected topics during the night.
Space, history, music, theater, biography, travel, documentation etc.

And my recorder can store hundred+ hours - at least ®
