Should know that today we have had no rain so I dragged myself up from my very comfy sofa and gutted the car.

Hoover (vacuum), rinse, wash, rinse, chamois dry, windows cleaned with Mr Muscle, trim wash/dry and lacquered, mats washed, touch-ups on three minuscule stone chips, resin polish applied and buffed, alloys cleaned and waxed. Winter radiator mix applied, oil fine, brake fluid fine. I spent 15 minutes frantically searching for the power steering fluid reservoir only to find out from a very tickled-pink VW service department that the PS unit is now computer controlled - no fluid required.:o Isn't technology wonderful?

After all that I was knackered and I think I deserve a beer or three now.
