s/k im on the work laptop... i hate laptop keyboards.... besides i cant touchtype....but i still get 30 to 40 words a minute.....3 to 4 fingers per hand...lol

S/K - I'm about the same. Although my best is around 50. I don't use my thump or pinky either. Laptop keyboard doesn't bother me either. Just takes a little getting used to.
