S/K the Presidential speeches are an attempt to change the issue on Americans mind, which the primary issue is why do we call football football. I believe that before we actaully have an answer many people will be sacrificed.

Should know hear hear. Your President should stick to matters of national importance. Gordon Brown, our Prime Minister for those who don't know him, ensures that delicate matters such as the the size and weight of octopus tentacles conform to international standards before he will let us eat them. This, I think, is a good use of his time and intelligence.

Why am I not surprised? Is there a death wish amongst American sports fans / burger lovers? Why stop with a McArtery Clogger when you could also drink the fat that comes out when the burgers are cooked? Oh and I bet you that those dumb enough to take on this challenge will wash it down with buckets and buckets of DIET coke.
