After reading the first post in this thread, I never knew this thread was about that subject. I believe in life after death. Where you spend forever, after Jesus comes again, is up to you. Will you take the free gift of Jesus Christ and believe in Him, or not? With Jesus you will go to Heaven, without, Hell. That is just the way God has made it. Don't like it? Sorry, you're not God. Christ has offered forgiveness of sins as a free gift. God cannot look on sin cause he is perfect. As such, sinful ppl cannot go to Heaven. When you repent, accept Jesus into your life, you are washed clean through Christ. When God then looks at you, he sees Christ, not the sin of man. If you choose not to believe, that is your choice and you go to Hell. Call God unloving, mean, whatever you want. You have the choice.

If all ppl that believe in Christ as their personal savior and as the only forgivness of sins, that He is the Son of God and the only way to Heaven are called Christians, then yes. You could call them anything you want. It's not what we are called it is what we believe and have faith in.

When you get into the Navy, you'll find people of many faiths. You'll be placing your life in their hands. Nothing upsets someone more than telling them their faith is wrong.
The question to ask yourself is - Can a person lead a Christian life and not be a Christian?

You do know Fangy that this is the nothing thread, don't you? Regardless of how it started it has taken on a new and more random purpose and that is to spread the word of nothingness and as such it is conspicuous in it's absence from the Politics and Religion Forum.
There is a proper place on the site to preach your particular brand of religious fervour so that heathens such as myself can avoid the perpetual threats of damnation until such time as we either see the light or lose control of our senses.:approve:
