lol, so "God" is going to ensure that the minority of people who happen to believe in "your" religion will be blessed while the majority of people will go to hell.
What about those that never get the chance to hear about god? They go to hell?
What about those who renounce religion after being abused by a priest? They go to hell?
What about the priest who abuses little boys and then repents on his deathbed. I'll bet there's a nice cosy place for him in heaven...

So it's also true that I can sell my daughter (Ex 21:7). I did some work last Sunday. Guess I should be put to death too (35:2). As a youth I did some drinking and was slightly rebellious. Glad I didn't have relgious parents (Deut 21:18-21).

I believe in GOD and his son as my savior but that is my belief and I will not force that belief on others. I think that maybe the "afterlife" is unique to all of us that what we believe is what we will find, it will be hell for some and heaven for others depending on how they truly believe inside how they have lived their life. I think that GOD evaluates our lives and asks us how we think we did, we can't lie to him as he knows all so we are forced to be truthful (and for some it will be the first time) and based on that reflection we move into his kingdom where we belong.
Again just my opinion for all I know I will come back as a tree and all of you as dogs!

The bible also gives us great methods of dealing with infidelity (number 5:11-31). A great cure for leprosy (Lev 14:1-8). The bible also teaches us that those who do not accept religion should be treated fairly (deut 13:6-11).
Let's not forget deut 25:5-10. Gen 38 8-10(take your brothers wife, but also be careful about playing with the snakey).

Where do you live? I've been born again on my driveway. I've been harrased while washing my car. Had flyers left all over my car and house. Believe me, I've had my chances to "find god" THere's no escaping his minions
LOL My personal fave is when I was trying to dry my car and this guy decided to yack for 20 minutes while I got water spots. THanks.

to howard and papa...one thing that was told to me many years ago is.."good people dont go to heaven...saved people do"
i know i am saved,i have God in my heart and soul,i put him 1st,i live a good saved life...im not perfect though,not a Bible thumper or anything..i just know in my heart that i will end up in heaven..just like some of you think that when we die,thats it,game over...thats how some think and live,this is how i choose
to think and live..God gave us above all...a choice,to believe in him or not.
howard...u did have a good ? on the memory thing...makes you think..however..imho i think its crazy to believe in aliens...its all a big joke..there are NO aliens..its just an excuse for people who dont believe in God..to have something to base their nonbelief on.
i know alot of you may hash out at that..but thats what i believe...not trying to start a fight or anything,cuz im enjoying reading everyones thoughts and how vast the scope of belief is...and its out there!! :) :)

I find it ironic that those who start the discussion vehemently opposed to even the idea of God usually try to discredit Christianity by quoting the Old Testament.
The Law was given to show that man could not be righteous on his own.
Christ came to give us grace.
If you don't want it, that is your choice. Don't come complaining to me about the consequences of your choice.
I didn't make the rules, but I'm not going to argue with the one who did either. If you want to try arguing with the Creator of the entire universe, go ahead. I'm going to stick to something safer, like juggling vials of nitro.
