No, they use a different processor. A laptop processor would be entirely too large and requires more power, more resources, etc.....not to mention that it's a completely different form-factor, so you'd have to use a laptop motherboard (big) in order for it to even fit in the socket.

What's a good point?

Do you have a pic? I'm curious how the PXA263 was mounted since it's not PIN compatible. What about the on-chip memory? Any problems recognizing that? How does it show up from the OS perspective?

It was just soidered in not a big deal. You can probely order the new chip from intel

cool, i would love to get a faster chip and some more memory and not have to get a new PDA instead. that woul make upgrades a lot easier
