Is a country that exists only in the minds of it's nonexistant, somewhat delusional and skirted inhabitants, effected by global warming?

I resemble those remarks. Nonexistant - yes. Delusional - yes. Skirted - sometimes yes. But inhabitants - how do we compare to a dodgy computer game?

Shouldn't you expect the effects of countries with SUVs the size of apartments and vast populations just starting to burn fossil fuels to overwhelm local efforts?

Personally I can only change my own habits or influence those of people I know. That's about the scope of my abilities. I cannot see myself as one of the great unwashed that frequent protest "camps" and climb roofs etc. Certainly not while wearing a kilt. Ever worn a kilt?

Don't flatulent beavers produce an all too different form of emissions?

Isn't it dangerous to ask people if you can smell their beaver?

Would that only be the case for French beavers or is it a worldwide tradition?
