It is. My partner and I went round St. Andrews in 18 shots once. Not bad but then this is where golf was invented after all. Did you know I once played the oldest course in the world?

That would be the Musselburgh Golf Club. Of course, it's close to your home - Right?

18 shots - Were you stil standing at the end?

The oldest course I've played is Royal St. Davids in Wales.

I used to play but haven't for about 10 years. Too frustrated and too lazy. Poker suits me fine now although I do still like a good walk. One of you compatriots once described golf as "a good walk spoiled" but he obviously never hit a 3-iron in anger though.

Yes Musselburgh which is situated slap bang in the middle of a racecourse, another plus for me! I do like my vices.

Sorry I meant 118 shots but we were never too far from the bar that night, in fact we never actually left it. Maybe 18 was right after all.
