A bit of Springsteen, as an example, cannot be too wrong. Personally I would have Alison Moyet/Yazoo but then you could probably have guessed that.:)

I like just listening if that makes sense. That applies to all kinds of music but favourites being Journey, TFF, Simply Red, Queen - that kind of thing. I like a good strong voice which is probably where my love of Ms Moyet developed from. She has got an exceptionally strong set on her you know. I also seriously like power ballads although I would not admit to that down the pub on a Friday night!
So I will listen to almost all kinds of music except one. I despise much of today's music be it rap or hip hop or whatever they are calling it this week. To me it is just noise, not music and is not worth listening to.
I have to admit that I have never heard, nor am I likely to ever hear, any Christian bands. Not my thing at all.
Is that eclectic enough or am I being too parochial?:)
