Savvy, Non you word murderer, is used just as you Scots use ye ken. Ye ken can mean: knowledge, acquaintance, understanding, awareness, comprehension, while savvy can mean: know-how, confidence, sense, savoir-faire, knowledge, ability, or understand?

You are almost right. We use the word "ken" in place of the words "know" or "understand". It is never used to mean knowledge, acquaintance, awareness or comprehension so I'm afraid that your (internet) sources are rather wide of the mark.

or
Shall I murder you understand now or do we have a truce?

Unfortunately, there's no clean version of that clip. :(
It also reminds me of listening to my Grandmother. Not the foul part, but the Scottish words. I used to ask my Father if my Grandmother spoke English. Then, they'd all laugh.
