Hey Z. That's what I thought too. Of course, I'm trying to remember the last time I talked about power supply transistors. Probably when I was teaching electronics back in the early 80s.

Now we're getting more into design than basic electronic theory. :)
I had thought about getting into electronic design, then computers came along and I ended up going in that direction. My last 5 years in the Navy was as a Systems Analyst. That was in the days before it required an engineering degree.
If you know what an Octopus is for testing transistors, you're talking to the person who built the first one ever. I didn't design it, I just built it and still have the original one as a keepsake. Even tho the Navy paid for all the parts. :approve:

I'd do one up like that, but I'm afraid I'd forget half of what I did. When I retired from the Navy I had eight different resumes. What a pain.
Of course, no matter how I started in a company, I ended up in management, even if that wasn't my goal.

At least you know what's involved in the test and can practice. One of the guys who worked for me took 4 tries to pass the test to become a SEAL. :o
Good luck next week - keep the faith. :)
