Too old to count and according to my cardiologist I am on my last chance so that must mean I have used eight!

My mother taught me, many decades ago, that it is dangerous to run into the street without looking. She taught me that it is folly to smoke cigarettes and that I should not drink to excess. She went on to say that it is important to eat a healthy diet and concluded with the advice that I should exercise in some way every single day. She said that if I did all of the above then I would live to a ripe old age.

It is perhaps somewhat unfortunate that I chose to ignore every word she said until it was almost too late. You better believe that I heed her advice now.
