Beach volleyball is nothing--worse than nothing; it was the most annoying thing last summer when the network wouldn't broadcast any real sports during the olympics.
You must be talking about Box's favourite version of the sport, men's beach volleyball and I agree, it's awful. Nothing like the eye-catching spectacle that is the women's game which is even more exciting after downing a few beers.

Kerri Walsh and Misty May were the only "athletes" NBC cared about. Dull, Dull, Dull. Olympic Television coverage is mostly boring life stories of really dull people. Nothing to it
But can you not appreciate the grace and poise of these remarkable athletes? They have so obviously dedicated themselves completely to their sport and it appears that they have let nothing get in the way of their desire to make it to the highest level. Isn't that the Olympic ideal and don't they have as much right as other, lesser athletes, such as Bolt and Hoy, to be shown on television? I think they do. More I say, and at all times of the day and night.

If women's Olympic croquet was to be played by a clutch of scantily clad, bronzed goddesses who have obviously sacrificed themselves totally for the chance of Olympic glory then I will gladly sign your petition and take nothing but pleasure from doing so.

Sport isn't about what is true, it's about being entertained. If you like nothing better than watching steroid-enhanced brutes racing along a track at inhuman speeds then so be it but I like my Olympic sport more sedate, attractive and women's volleyballish. Sky+ HD is a wonderful invention which allows me to indulge my passion all year round. And it also lets me slow things down so I can watch the 100 metres at the proper speed.

I don't watch Boon, I was never a fan. Also there is nothing more tasty than a well fired tortoise, especially when it's served with a spoonful of strawberry jam.
