I have been watching Mitt for a while now, and i think he would make a great president. At least in the running of my state, he has done an exceptional job, and when he makes a promise that he will do something he does. Also, i particularly like his position on my mental political spectrum, i think he is situated right around where i am on the left/right scale, and i agree with him on so many issues. Plus, he is a really good speaker. Now that im done with that tirade, i would love to hear why you think you are going with newt (obviously a lot can change in 3 years)

Well for one thing it would give georgia an attempt to atone for Jimmy Carter (A great human being but not that great of a president) Newt is very smart and very whitty. he enginnered the republican take back of the House in 94.
He had me going too! I was getting the ready then I got to the end of the post. ;)

Night Warthog. Since I am off tomorrow I will probably be around very now and then. See you then.
We need another topic.
Anyone here wine drinkers?
Thought I would share how proud I am of finding some amazing wine from the Cinque Terre in Italy. I had brought a couple bottles back with me when I was there two years ago, but had already opened all of them. It has taken me about six months but I tracked some down.
Unfortunately, the cooperative group that owns the vineyards for the type of grape used is selling the land. Apparently the younger generation does not want to tend to the vineyard. So, knowing I would probably not find this ever again I bought the last few bottles they had. I will be saving them for a nice pasta dinner. :)
Sorry JPmarth not a wine drinker myself im a v2drinker except with food.
My wife though always has a glass a night she uses the excuse its good for her heart. - Love the new Avatar though by the way - much better than the baby cyberman!

Just a possible relocation for myself. Though there is a position of "Manager, Staff Planning" that I am waiting to post on our jobline. It has been fun managing work groups, but I am more interested in the fine details of what makes the company tick.
Broke a rib?! I feel for you. Did that myself about 6 six years ago. I had injured my knee snowboarding and when trying to get out of a swimming pool a few days later the knee gave out and I hit my ribs on the side of the pool.
Does the Dr have you wearing a brace or did he just prescribe little movement? Either way, hope the recovery is quick for you. :approve:
JP - I honestly didn't see your post asking me the first time - I thought Frenchy was making it up
During my 'probabtion period' (three months) I am Senior Manager Financial Products for an investment bank - after the probabtion I become an Associate Director.
My rib is getting better (it was before Christmas that I broke it) - the main problem came from the fact that I also damaged the cartilidge in the same area and this pressed against my lung (which flaming hurt, I can tell you).
It was actually quite funny when the doctor was looking at the X-ray as he had to ask me which break he was supposed to be looking at (as in the same X-ray were - four other broken ribs, a broken collarbone, a broken shoulderblade and a broken forearm - all of which I had broken previously - he actually asked me if I had ever been in a car accident - and I had to tell him I just played rugby).
Don't even get me started on knee damage and legs (they make my 'top half' look uninjured :exc: )
Wow Rob good job. Glad to ear that your Rib is OK now. With all these injuries shall we call you Mr. Fankenstein. I adopted V2drinkers :bang: V2drinkers :bang: V2drinkers :bang: avatar. Thanks :approve: That should show how not to mix names
