My wife is a little bit angry with me at the moment as I've just told her that I'm off up to White hart Lane on Saturday to watch my beloved Tottenham :love: beat (Hopefully) Chelsea. She's just told me that she'd arranged a weekend away in the new forest to celebrate:celebrate my leaving my job.
Its a tough decision to make but I think I'll have to go with the option that makes her happy :iconbangh and just watch the highlights on saturday night. So I guess I'll be away for the weekend

After some consideration, I've gone back to my British flag idea. It's been my avatar right from joining, so it just feels comfortable...like an old pair of slippers! There's something I find oddly soothing about the flag gently flapping in the breeze....!

I here you. I went back to my original avatar.
With everyone changing there's lately it is going to take a few days to get use to.
My wife and her english family more so than I. We love the Italian wines and when we go on vacation to Italy we always bring back a case or two. The whites seem to travel better than reds. Wine is very cheap in Germany and Italy compared to prices in the states. (I almost died when I saw the prices in Nottingham!)
My wife is the expert. I cheat and look at the Alcohol content. 12% or better and most times the wine is a good one.
