I think it can only be seen on an LCD type monitor/screen and it's very faint. The LCD screens I have at work are very bright and I can see a faint line. I don't have my LCD screen at home set as bright and don't see any faint lines. I can also see the very light gray background in Box's AV.

Yes, but on one of my screens it disappears, also the gray behind my ephalunt only appears on the Monitors not the laptop, and Fangs white box does the same. So, the colour you use varies depending on the screen you are viewing it on.

The monitor definitely does make a difference. Because of our business in training development, the company has very high end monitors. So, we see about every color and shade possible with outstanding clarity. My monitor at home is an average type and I don't get near the shading or clarity.
