I'm charging my axim batteries several times a day - so most are now down to just 2-3 hours :-(

My AX sits in the cradle most of the time. So, it's pretty well charged all the time.

Newer batteries should be kept at a higher level so they will last longer.

It's best to check out the type of battery (Lithium or NiCad) and research the Internet.

Those should be kept at a higher level. They don't have memory, like NiCads, and will definitely last longer if they're kept at a higher level. I never let mine get below 50 - 60%
