Language barrier?
Naturally to lower their costs, not ours, seems Dell is using VoIP and their service is coming from the far east.
Had the same experience with a laptop which I sent in for service. Not a problem.

So far. Read on.
After waitin' for three weeks, exciting to get the laptop back.
Would have been overwhelmed
if the Inspiron was delivered working.
Shot out, purchased a HDD, installed myself. Should have done that
in the first place. So much for Dell service.
