How is a defective part my fault?

I called one day for about 2hrs. Got no one who could speak and understand English well. At the end of the conversation the guy tells me that it's my fault.

I called becuase the little rubber feet on back of my x50v were lifting up and after I just about lost one I pulled them both off. The guy who couldn't really understand me and I couldn't really understand him then proceeds to tell me that since I told him I took them off it wasn't covered. I almost flipped on him and then I thought, "No one at Dell gives a damn so why yell at the poor guy who doesn't even understand the context of what I told him"
Later that day a dell sales person called, why is it when they want to sell me something I get the English speaking person? Anyway she's trying to tell me that I should buy an extended warranty for my new laptop. I said to her NO! She said why I said "Dell products great, service SUCKS!!!" After about 10 time of this I think she got the message.

So anyone know how I can get some new little rubber feet?

Mine came unglued also and are gone. I haven't really thought much about them. But I'll be watching the responses.

I would get a hole punch and a suitable material such as an old intertube or a piece of leather etc.Punch your holes, retrieve the little circles and use clear silicone to attach.Best I could do this late hour.

Have fun trying to find a P/N for the little rubber platforms. It's a superficial defect and doesn't affect the functionality of the unit. If it's not affecting functionality or if the problem part was not made by Dell, it won't be considered.

I'm not blaming you for what you did to your PDA, but it's asking to replace the P4 logo on a Dimension/Optiplex system.

Bulldog, your experience with Dell is precisely why after my Axim bites the dust, I will never do business with them again.

VoIP Dell Service Center Senegal

Language barrier?

Naturally to lower their costs, not ours, seems Dell is using VoIP and their service is coming from the far east.
Had the same experience with a laptop which I sent in for service. Not a problem. So far. Read on.

After waitin' for three weeks, exciting to get the laptop back.
Would have been overwhelmed if the Inspiron was delivered working.

Shot out, purchased a HDD, installed myself. Should have done that
in the first place. So much for Dell service.
