Top Tivo Picks

Well, as most know around here, i received my tivo a month or so ago, and it has been recording a few things so i can finally watch shows that are on when i am busy

So my question, whats on the top of your Tivo recording list? Or, in other words for none tivo users, What is your top watched show

My new fav is Top Gear on TLC. Car show brought over from england that is about 4 months behind in episodes from england, but still awesome to watch for us US people :approve:

I dont watch a lot of tv anymore, but every wednesday Top Gear gets recorded at around 9pm CST and gets watched a bit after lol :approve:

How its made is a good show to, seems dull at times, but then it is interesting to see how complicated some manufacturing processes are :)

I also have my fill on Family Guy and Futurama Episodes recorded to watch at my liesure....I did have the simpsons, but i have seen pretty much every simpsons episode

The TV usually is background while I'm doing some type of work.

I just got a DVR from Cox Cable, so I'm experiencing the joys of recording sans videotapes! :approve:

I record British Sitcoms when I can't watch them on Sat or Sun evening. I always record Good Eats on the Food Channel!!

The other shows I record are Survivor, Apprectice, and Battlestar Galactica.

Though I don't have a Tivo. I use my Media Center PC.

Ok, i seriously did not plan this out like this....top gear was removed for the discovery schedule here for some reason....... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ok you get the idea, i am really upset right now....

And no we did not get the celebs or really much of the good stuff, we only got around 8 custom made episodes

I have been looking and cant find any info....i also have been looking for a boxed set since there are like 6 series of it....but i have yet to find one

Can someone help me find a boxed set of it? if there is one...i have been looking all over...Region 2 is fine as i have a special player for British comedies all setup already....

How'd you get a 100 hour machine. My Cox DVR only records 50!

BTW, on pvrs you can usually change the quality settings you record with. I use one of the lower qualities b/c I never keep stuff for the long haul, or if I do I move it to VHS. Lowering the quality gives a slightly worse picture, but increases the record time significantly.
