Netflix - Slow Delivery

Are there any Netflix Users here at Aximsite?

Am I the only one, or has anyone noticed that lately, even though you send the DVDs back pretty fast, it seems it takes them longer to send out the next DVD on your list?

There is actually a distribution center here in town, so usually the mail is pretty fast. 1-2 days.

Netflix seems to stretch things out, which makes for about only 3 movies a week or 12 per months for 17.99. Which is still not bad (at 1.50 a DVD). I'm not complaining or anything, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

I use the BlockBuster version and it seems to work pretty fast. I have never keept track of how many per month we get. But I have never been disappointed with the speed. Might be worth checking out. Good Luck~

I use them here in Atlanta area where they also have a distribution center. Just signed up about a month ago for the "one at a time" package to give them a try.

I mail a dvd back on a Monday, and receive the next dvd on Wednesday. Pretty spiffy!

I have been with Netflix for over 2 years now. Usually when i send a movie back the next movie will be in my mail box on the 3rd day. Once and awhile there seems to be a lag of almost 5 days, but that is rare.

What I have found is it depends on what I am getting. If it is something mainstream I mail one back on Monday, I get mine back probably wed or so. If I have something on my list that is strange or less popular, it usually ships from the west coast, and then takes a lot longer. Look at the sleeve to see where you are shipping back to, it will also tell you where it is coming from.

I guess most of my list are for new releases. Its a pain sometimes because it seems I get the non-new releases first and have to wait a very long time for the new ones. I had the pacifier at #1 for over 2 months and finally got it. With 2 very young children, netflix works out better for us.
