The Perfect Fitting EarPhones

These "PodFitKit" add-ons look interesting. They apparently work for all earphones, not just the iPod. I'm tempted to buy them, as I have a hard time getting the earphones comfortable.

Does anyone have any experience. For $15 (incl. shipping).. it doesn't seem like too bad of a risk.

I have those Sony earbuds, as well, Andre :)

But this does look like a good solution for those who chose to use that type of earphone. Hmm.. by the time you spend the $$ on the earphone and then on the podfitkit you might just as well pick up the Sonys :)

Get some Shures. They fit great. Perfectly snug in your ear canal. Really good bass and imaging as well.

I had to get over-the-ear....the insides of my ears weren't too kind to my sony's...they also hurt a lot after awhile.

Yes, Shures are great, I can wear them for hours. The E2Cs are not quite as comfortable as the E3Cs, but still OK. The new E4Cs are really tempting...

I was also looking at buying new earphones, but I read a lot of the good earbuds are hard to exercise with. This is important as I do a lot of movement.

Are there any good comfortable earbuds that also can withstand a lot of movement?

Any type of canal plugs are not good for exercising. The reason is that the they amplify the sound of the cord rubbing against stuff when you move and it will annoy you. I'm using earbuds - Sennheiser MX500 (I think they have upgraded to a newer version since I got these). They sound great, they are not very expensive, and for me they work very well exercising. The only drawback is that they are rather large and it took me a while to get used to them. But after the initial breaking in period they were fine. Hope this helps.

Would you say these are as good, better, or worse than the Sony Fonotopia model:

I have the sony EX81LP and I absolutely love them. They are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever used.
