Anybody can get many Linux distributions for free legally. That's not true for Windows.
Plus, Linux doesn't have that activation junk, so I can change hardware as much as I want without worrying about the OS complaining, and free Linux is still free no matter how many PCs I install it on. And should I mention that it's a lot easier to optimize for low memory usage?
Of course, the most compelling reason is that viruses and spyware are virtually nonexistant under Linux.
But back to the reason why I want Linux on my PDA, I would like to be able to run (small) Linux applications on it. And not to mention that bugs would be fixed faster in open source!
