Taste of the holidays...

Just cracked open the first tin of Danish butter cookies... it's officially the holiday season now :p

What kind of goodie says Ho Ho Ho to you?
:)

p.s. We always seem to eat the little pretzel shaped cookies first... is this a worldwide phenomenon?

Oh no, pictures too! I'm 19 pounds into a food plan (not using the "D" word here) with a goal of 20lbs lost. So, I've been very good about avoiding such foods for the last 3 months! Soon, very soon, I will be able to indulge again. :approve: (in moderation, of course)

Those are great cookies. I, too, have started a Food Plan, and will have to limit myself. But thanks for the picture of those awesome cookies...

I am really into the Christmas tree cakes that they sell every year at pretty much every grocery store. I think the name of them is Christmas Tree Cakes.

Oh, yeah! When I was working my way through undergraduate school, I worked for an ice cream manufacturer. For the X-mas party one year we bought eggnogg mix that should have been combined with milk, but we mixed it with unfrozen premium ice cream mix. That stuff was dynamite! Probably hardened our arteries while still consuming it.

Wow, what a coincidence, my coworker yesterday brought in 4 Tin's of those cookies, and a homemade Eggnog pie, which was the first time i ever saw that.
As for the pretzel shape cookies they are my favorite ones also.

YES!!! Those things are addicting... I'm just glad that Christmas only comes once a year. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to fit in the door.
