I'm probably in a minority here, but I'm just not comfortable with you taking over this or any other thread. Now I don't mean any offense, because it was you Frenchy afterall who kindly offered me a gmail invitation, but it doesn't seem right that you should edit another's post because you decide you want to. You could have easily carried on the tradition by posting a reply without editing the great MrK's post.
Sorry, this is the only thread I took over from MrK. He ask me to update this on his behalf once or twice while he was still around. I am carrying his wish with every new record we achieve here not by creating a new thread but by keeping the thread he started alive so we remember when he started it. If more members request from me to leave this one alone and start a new one I will but being called so many time "Le monsieur des nombres" by MrK, I think he knew I would carry on with this one. This said if others vote are against this practice I will stop.

I was not asking you to start a new thread. A simple reply to this thread, as you did on other occasions, would have served to keep the memory of the thread alive. I was just trying to say that I don't like the idea of someone other than the original poster editing the content of an existing post. Surely there are cases when a moderator should edit the content of a post (eg, if it contains illicit or inappropriate material or links) but this is clearly not the case here.

If you read the thread I had suggested to MrK to add the new record date and time + info to the first post (his) so members do not have to scroll through the whole thread to view the history. MrKlaatu did the change as he thought it was a good idea. I am just doing what he would have done. I do not change his original writing or coding, I just add the record information as he would have done it. The thread is still under his name too. I didn't really took over the thread but just updating it for him.
