It's years away the article says.
Hopefully it isn't the fix to WM5 :)

ridiculous. where do you they get the nerve to unveil a "new windows" in the works, when tons of people, me included, are sitting here staring at darkened devices rendered useless by this unfinished spew of code called windows mobile 5. its like assuring a terminal aids patient that the cure is only 20 years away. well not exactly, but i'm too pissed to think of an appropriate metaphor.

Maybe because they have a completely different team working on the new one than they have working on WM5.

That's how many software companies work. It takes years to write code and they need to keep revenue coming in. So, they start work on the next one right after (or soon before) the last one is released.

Nothing new and nothing to be upset about.
