get real!! If you watched the Video thats a stock Hayabusa!! If you threw some nitrous and a turbo on that bike it would hit 240 easy. Of course a car might still be able to hit top speed over a bike. but in the quarter mile, please, only the top fuels could beat bikes.

Wow, I'll make sure I never take my car into the dealer for electrical issues. I bet the rubber band was left on their by the factory. Probably bundled from Fords Manufacturer of wire harnesses.

The thing to remember is that ford really doesn't build everything that goes on the car. They use a lot of other suppliers. The Basically are a autmotive assembler. Like your tranny issue. Ford only stuck in the T5 that was supplied to them. I think it was dropped or damaged from Borg Warner. Here is some information on the T5:

I still think the car is sweet and you should keep it. Just keep after Ford about the tranny and elecrical stuff.

Wrong.... What do you think it would run? There still are "street cars" able to run in the 7's and thar' ain't no way that Honk Kong Special is going to run that fast!

No No, youre right, i was just pullin your leg. I know that cars can beat bikes but right of the factory floor bikes are faster. agreed?

Sorry to hear your problems Chris with the dealer Chris. I've been thinking about posting a thread asking for legal advise for my fiance's problem with an auto insurance company, as she's been in a rental for 3 months now.... after hearing your gripes, it might have just prompted me to go ahead and post a thread on it.

Good luck getting them to fix it. As you said, it's not the money, but the principle of it.... I mean to say its not covered and then blame it on you is just bad service.

UPDATE

• The guy at the oil change place said leak was gone and he couldn't tell if the rear main seal had actually been replaced.
• I have fixed the traction control trouble that was caused by someone pulling on the wiring harness myself.

Sent email to Ford Customer Care Friday, nothing yet.
