Is it that I see this great new app :approve:, research it on Aximsite.com (of course) and buy it. Some bright spark then decides to give it away free or discount it!!!
RIGHT AFTER I HAVE JUST BOUGHT IT
AHH! I feel better for that

SPB Pocket Diary, bought of Handango (after checking SPB site). Went to SPB site a couple of days later for manual and bang! 65% OFF! LIMITED TIME OFFER! :realmad:
Also have you noticed if you go into work and announce you just bought some new whizz bang bit of kit for xxx £/$ someone will almost always say "you could have got that for xxx£/$ less if you went to acme.com"
Grrrr
this post in no way promotes acme.com over any other vendor of whizz bangs

We all feel your pain. Not to mention the fact that when I first started using my PPC in late 2002, apps were consistently selling for between $5.00 and $15.00 at the most. Times have changed and gotten more confusing for us simple consumers.
Ok... never ever buy the same new technology I do...
Psion, Sony Clie, Sharp Zaurus, OS/2
It's amazing Dell are still here

I remember buying the X50v and just a few week after it was on sale $100 cheaper. That too was hard to swallow. Customer service wouldn't give me anything. They say that at the time my deal was as good as I could get it.

If I need someting I do some serious price shopping and buy it.If I want someting for the "WOW factor" I take my time and wait for the best deal to come around. For me,researching for the best price is almost as fun as buying.
OS/2!!!
I remember when OS/2 first came out. Had Windows built in. Later versions didn't so if you wanted to run Windows apps you had to get both.
We purchased a voice mail system called Millennium. It is built on OS/2 and works great. We have had fewer problems with OS/2 then any Win-Tel box I ever worked on. :exc:

I purchased my X51v the week it was released for $400 + tax. A week later there was a deal to get the same unit with a free second battery and 2 year warranty for about the same price. I called Dell and they ended up sending me a free second battery. Then 2 months later, I got a second X51v on sale for $279 with no tax + $8 shipping. The next day I found out that I could have gone to Dell's Holiday game and possibly received an additional $45 off. There will always be a better deal than what you paid. You have to ask yourself, "Was I satisfied with my purchase at the time I made it?" If the answer is "yes" than you shouldn't let buyer's remorse prevent you from enjoying your purchase.
