What is a free & easy to use program that will convert a .mov file to a .avi? Thanks guys.

If not free what do you recommend?

quicktime pro will do it, but that is "pro" which means you have to pay for it. As for free, you might want to give Virtualdub a try. Dunno if it does .mov though

Don't Panic!

You could try it the other way around and spend money on a PPC program to play the .mov files you find. Pictpocketcinema plays .movs but it's pricey. It has a nice long trial version though.
