Hello all. I think everyone has had enough of this nonsense and it is time. I for one, don't want to continue using Axim handhelds if this is what is going to come of them. Buggy, non functional OS.
It seems as if none of our complaints are doing anything so this is an organized and more effective way.
If dell does not release an update soon, everyone who joins in will not buy a Dell Axim of any kind (x50 or newer) until the bluetooth stack is updated.
Is not that bad... For several years now, you have received good OS and support for your Pocket PCs. Sure they messed up huge with this release and so far, Dell has completely dissapointed us X50 owners by not giving us an updated ROM.
But, tell me... what are you going to buy? HP? They are really expensive and you get much less than with Dell. All other PPCs are just wanna be's.
This is a low blow from Dell, but I'm staying with them for Pocket PCs
Count me in. The nonsense with Windows Mobile 5 upgrade from Dell is absolutely unacceptable, especially the sluggishness. Also, I have to blame everything on Dell because many significant bugs are seem on x50v/x51v ONLY.

This last update(A06) has made me a fence sitter. Dell have some serious soul searching to do. I had faith in them releasing a worthy ROM update and they let me down.
I still love my x51v, but Dell better get their act together soon or Im definately joining the group of annoyed and frustrated Axim users.
The only saving grace is AximSite :approve: For now Im 50/50 but I understand the plight of this thread. I hope it gets the attention of Dell.
The entire WM5 situation is disappointing. I regret spending the amount of money that i did to own a X series PPC. I would not recommend A Dell PPC to anyone who shows interest in one. Wake up dell, inform us. Lets see a timeline. Dell, are you even aware of this serious problem that disables your X50 PPC line. I want to know when i can turn this $400 desk ornament into a productive tool and use it for all the functionally that was promised when i bought it. First step, reliability! GET WITH IT DELL. :exc: I cant believe it, So DISAPPOINTING.
I'm afraid not a lot of people are concerned that they got a unit with a crippled bluetooth stack. I am able to use BT with a lot of things but knowing that a lot of profiles are missing bothers me. It's like getting a calculator with no division key. Count me in.
I'm buying a Palm TX. I'm sick and tired of this WM5 nonsense. The TX looks stable, and I must confess I'm using my Tungsten E instead of my x50v now. Count me in.
lets sue their paints off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you may wounder what i want to join since i have an x30. it is because some issues with the x30 that have yet to be patched.. after what a year of me buying it?
Ditto. I have an X30 but after reading all the horror stories with WM5, I will definitely not be buying another Dell PPC until they get their shit straightened out.
