I was born in Pittsburgh, and I must admit I'm on cloud nine. First I can't believe that Pittsburgh being the 6th seed in the wildcard playoffs took out the 1st and 2nd seed (thus creating a NFL first) And now it's on to Detroit where I really think the Steelers will win the Super Bowl. Sure their not the Steelers of the 70's, but they have done somthing that no other team has ever down, winning 3 in a row on the road and heading to the Super Bowl, YOWSA!!! Go Steelers, create some more history.

I'm pulling for the Steelers. I don't really have an NFL team... There are a lot of good story lines with this Super Bowl. I kinda like Seattle as well. May the best team win!
Now that the Bears have been eliminated I guess I'll root for the Steelers. The iron curtain. I remember them winning 4 superbowls when I was a kid. Terry Bradshaw. Mean Joe Green giving that kid his jersey in the Coke commercial. It's all coming back to me now.
Since they were able to handle my beloved Broncos... I'll be rooting for them.
I'm not so much a steelers fan as I am a fan of "The Bus" ... I'll be wearing black and gold on Superbowl Sunday! Besides, I can't cheer for the Seahawks, they play the Broncos too often for that!
:nw: **Steelers**

Not much of a football fan, but Pitsburgh seem to be the "Cinderella" team this year. And although I really want them to win the superbowl, these teams normally make it to the finals without winning them.

I'm also not a Steelers fan normally, but pulling for them now. Like Big Ben, like Bill Cowher, and love the idea of Bettis getting a ring - he's been an amazing back for so long ...
tons of programs

Go Steelers! I too was quite happy they won, they seem destined to be in Superbowl XL. As a metro-Detroiter, all I can say is Welcome! I can't think of another team who deserves to be coming here more...
I don't think Bettis is disappointed the Superbowl is here, but I wonder if they'd prefer a Jacksonville, FL or a Houston, TX location instead??
Been a Steelers fan since seeing them beat Dallas in SB XIII back in the 70s (we only got 20 minute highlights on British TV back then). It's been a 26 year wait for victory but I think we're going to do it this year. If the Bus is going to retire what better way to do it than after a superbowl win in his home town. :approve:

Lifelong Pats fan.... Adopted the 'Hawks as my 2nd team in the 90's (lived north of Seattle for 8 years! NO place in the US Id rather be!!)... If it werent the 'Hawks, (or the Pats), Id say GO STEELERS, Win one for the BUS!!! He deserves to have a ring. Class act, in my eyes! As well as Hines Ward....
And the Superbowl hype is always tough on a first time team....but GO SEAHAWKS !!!!!
Anyways!!! LOVE them Seagals, too!!! :approve:
BTW... I wonder how many BIG fans the NFL DOES have across the pond... :approve: Raines!
After the Hawks-Panthers game I saw that if Seattle wins Mike Holgrim (sp?) will be the first head coach to win the Super Bowl with two different teams, so no matter who wins NFL history will be made. Of course as for me and my house we will be - STEELERS all the way!!!
