I checked first to see if such blatant self-promotion was allowed, and seeing nothing saying it isn't allowed, I decided to come here to ask you guys your opinion on web design project of mine.
Anyway, I've been in the web design business for about the past 2-2.5 years now, and every now and then I'll take up some kind of coding project as a self-test of my skills.
This time, I've decided to make my very own blog FROM SCRATCH. I realize there are a lot of blog "programs" that one can put online and start posting with very little effort. I, being a glutton for punishment, was not content with creating a "normal" blog and decided that now was as good a time to test out my PHP abilities.

The entire blog system was built from the ground up, and I did base some of my blog's "features" from observations I've made of the seemingly successful blogs I've visited over the years.
Anyway, If you would, just look around a bit and let me know what you think. I've been trying to give my blog a theme, and I think I've decided on a sort of "jack-of-all-trades" approach where I just post anything technology related that fits my fancy. Am I hitting this mark?
P.S. I don't have many readers now, but I hope to change that soon
