The most important aspect to our computing experience (well imo)

bigger hard drives, better monitors, more memory, graphics cards, sound cards,........

I think mine is the good old mouse.

I have never upgraded my mouse untill today, I got this one
I have always had this thing with mice, I don't know its probaly the most used part of the computer. so I decided to pamper my hand, lol that just sounds wrong. anyways,....

what mouse do you have?

That looks cool... I have to wonder though if it is an "always on" technology. Meaning is is always drawing power to power the device even when not in use.

It probably uses a very low current circuit, but I wonder the efficiency is much different than a mouse with a recharging cradle. I usually only charge about every 2 weeks or so, and it recharges in about 3 or 4 hours.

I've seen that tech on a number of items, and they were pitching it to automobile manufacturers and cell phone companies. as a method to charge disparate devices without havint to plug them in. just set them on a specific surface/holder/tray and you could charge phones, pagers, flashlights, PDAs, MP3 players, etc. without cords.

Problem is, is that those cables and such are a bir revenue source for them, and they would lose lots of profit in selling accessories per device and pay a license fee to lease that technology.

For this to work, someone needs to make a series of 'batteries' that functions that way to retrofit devices where the manufacturer doesn't want to play along.

Don't you hate it when economics get in the way of a good idea.
