How are you spending this day of the year? It's been interesting seeing psychologists being brought on the news to give their take on this holiday. Some see it as an excuse for women to get attention, some the one day of the year men must remember to get a gift for their sweethearts (even if they forget all the other dates), and some who are single can't stand the day.
Well, how do you feel about Valentine's Day? Not for a project, or anything else worthy of your time. Just me being curious. :)
Personally I don't rate Valentine's day at all....
BUT I know someone who does... so any Valentines's related fuss is just for her benefit

Where does "a Hallmark holiday designed to make you worry and feel inadequate when you try to bribe your ______ with candy she won't eat, flowers she'll kill, and a card that will turn your stomache"
Heart warming isn't it

i personally dont like it. when i lived at home and commuted to school it was always shared with family. now that i am off at Georgia southern. there is no one to share it with.
My wife and I both agree that Valentines day is over rated. I think it is more for kids and young people. You should do nice things for one another every day, not just on one day. It is a money maker for the businesses. I was in Wal-mart yesterday and it was so crowded, I thought it was Christmas.
I know... I'm off to there in a few minutes to get a card, some flowers from a street vendor, and something...

As a woman, I personally think Valentines Day is over rated. If you are truly in love, you should show that love and genorousity year round, not on a specific "marked calendar day". Just my .02 worth :) (and yes I am married and very much in love).
