How does it know ur in america. I set the time zone to baghdad, but it must use something else. Can somebody not from usa access this?

I'm from Australia and I can view the video with no problems. Google probably determine where you are based on your ip address.

When I try to view it in Korea I get the following,

"Thanks for your interest in Google Video.
Currently, the playback feature of Google Video isn't available in your country.
We hope to make this feature available more widely in the future, and we really appreciate your patience."

I've recieved this message for all Googlr Videos that I have tried to see for the last few months. Kinda Sucks......

To get these videos, you have to click the link that says put on site. It gives you a code. You have to copy from "http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf" all the way to "&playermode=embedded" It is a very long url, serveral lines. It works only on the videos that say put on site.

They just take a look at where your IP is from and they can determine where you live.

I could watch it just fine. Schrags sent me a link to CSI on Google Video and it wouldn't let me watch it because I'm not in America.

Also, if you don't live in the states you can't get to www.showtime.com either.

Schrags suggested a proxy, which makes sense.... but it's just CSI.
