Hmm Do Micorsoft developers have any real brains?

Maybe I just think a little different than they do, but I thought that maybe I could tell the system throught the download agent in programs, where I wanted to have stuff put when it downloaded. Well, when I opened it, I could no longer do anything except reset, since I wasn't in the middle of a download. Don't these people do any real life testing with prospective users? If they do, maybe they get them from the monkey island at the zoo! It's just like trying to get any kind of support from Microsoft - "you want what? Support? Ha ha, you bought it, you figure it out."

They don't have brains. They have computers inside their heads running Windows, which makes them instable. Hence why their products are.

They dont need to. Their windows os is on the majority of computers. Their only competition in the pda world is the palm. MS is a monopoly and until they have another company that is hurting them, they wont change anything.

Forgive me for seeming "anal" about spelling. What I really need to say here, is that a clear, concise description of the problem, with a well-titled thread will lead to faster, more accurate help for your problem.

I'm putting this in the Water Fountain since we don't have a Tell Microsoft Forum.

Just keep in mind that MS is still concentrating on the Enterprise users and their decisions become clearer.

Well EXCUSE ME!:rolling:

I don't know if you're attacking me, or another poster, cause I only saw one SLIGHT
mistake in my original post (an added "t" in one word).
Lighten up, I myself have not noticed a spell checker in the forum entry box.

OT: Don't panic heidger. Some of our members can be a bit anal about spelling. The only forums I've been to with a built in spellchecker is pocketnow.

BOT: So what program were you downloading that went to the wrong place?

I think it's more a a marketing thing than a devlopers thing. Your average Jane exec wants all there programs in RAM. They usually don'T bother with storsge cards. MS Developers develop for the target market.

I still wonder if this is a third-party developer issue though. Some programs just won't work anywhere else but in RAM.

Gee ... they don't have brains, eh? OK ... tell ya what, Sport. You try to build a company that approaches 1/100th of Microsoft's size and support the same ratio of products and see how you do. Until that happens (and you do it better) I strongly suggest that you restrict your problem statement to the issue at hand and this incredible group of Axim owners will help you find your way through the mine field.

Logical. Very informative!

Say what you will 'bout MS, you must always come back to the pleasant fact
there is only one MS!

For what it's worth, I don't particularly like Microsoft, and neither do many of my friends! I have started the transition to open source, and I'll try to avoid Microsoft as much as I can.
I have already installed Firefox, Openoffice, and many other open source programs. I have Linux running on some other PCs (still waiting for a Linux version of Shareaza), and I really want Linux on my PDA.

A few days ago, Jessica Simpson was talking about how Microsoft has been giving her lots of trouble lately. After a few minutes of talking to her, we came up with the same conclusion. Bill Gates really likes us cute chicks and will try to get some of our money. I don't know what he's thinking, but Bill, you have to work better than that to get our money. And putting in more DRM isn't going to make us any happier either. Not to mention that all the security holes make Windows seem as secure as a cardboard door lock. So Jessica Simpson joined the Open Source group with me (actually, we've been using open source, including Linux, for quite a long time) and we'll escape from the trouble. We paid a lot for our computer hardware and we should not let Microsoft get in our way of using it.

One of the best quotes (from Alexis Cosse) was, "Linux is the best antispyware out there. While other products try to stop the spyware, Linux simply makes the spyware not work in the first place. And with its code being reviewed by millions of users worldwide, it's bound to get even better. But best of all, it's free."

BTW, I found that my friend Britney Spears has already figured out how to use KDE (no surprise; it's really easy to use) and she has recently mastered the basic UNIX commands.
