There are a number of electronic billboards that can display Amber Alert info to passing drivers, a license plate reader would automate that and make it far more accurate and faster.

The problem with this technology is the same as the difference between pessisism and optimism. Some see how technology can be misused, some see how technology can benefit.

The issue is to see that technology is used correctly
