What kind of specifications does a laptop need to have in order to encode Ten DVD's in ten seconds and burn a DVD simutaneously, while playing DOOM 3, SIMs 2, and watching DVD on split screen?

Oh your talking about that pc that Bill Gates has hid away from the pre windows 95 days. Even though its over 10 yrs old, itis still a lot faster than pcs today. It even had the final version of vista installed on it, 10 yrs ago. Bill Gates has just been hiding his good os's and good pcs. Ha JK, and you believed me there for a while.

maybe japan's earth simulator would have the processing power, but there would be no way to play 3d games on it... unless, of course, you were to play them in software rendering mode. might be possible.
however, encoding a DVD in a second is against the laws of physics. in order to spin a dvd that fast, the cintrifigul force would cause the dvd to explode immediately. not to mention the amount of acceleration necessary to get it finished within a second. might be possible with a file that's already been taken from a dvd though.
trivial fact: most cd's/dvd's will explode when going over a speed of 30,000rpm. this is why you'll likely never see dvd's get over 16x, and you'll never see cd burners over 52x. some manufacturers will not even go over 48x as an extra measure. maybe if the process of making writable media gets improved we could do it.
Obviously it just needs a britney CPU with a jessica Co-Processor!!
Actually my Led Zeppelin CPU (he's a friend of mine) with the REM Co-Processor (also a friend of mine) would do the job if they are phase change cooled. I developed phase changed cooling technology.

Phase Changed Cooling on an REM! Bah!
You need Passive Orange Crush cooling to cool an REM.
